
Sequences (2021)
Sequences is an album made while playing and discovering sounds, arpeggios, and loops. I have to admit that it’s slightly dark maybe because it’s made in a period while I was not happy at all. Sometimes the sound studio is a refugee and it was my case.
Mirrors (2021)
That’s a tribute to artists who have influenced me sometimes deeply and others just in some way. All of them are part of the electronic music scene. It covers different styles and always with the footprint of JomoL. The listener will enjoy contagious beats, danceable structures and an innovative palette of sounds.
New Approach (2020)
After many years producing electronic music, I was thinking to stop JomoL project, but at the end the most important goal is self happiness so it does. And in the autumn of 2019 I produced these 4 large tracks with Ableton live. They have lots of unexpected changes and floor beats.
Next (2019)
Next is an album where I came back to the loops. And I abused them. Created 100% with original material so no libraries are found in the themes. You can find some soundscapes and musical passages that conform a countinuous album of 33 minutes. This is not the first time that Jomol makes an album like this. What changed here was the software he used to produce wich was Ableton Live because he wanted to make live sessions with this material someday.
The album was entirely created with a notebook computer and then it’s mixed in the studio. There’s a huge work on it before the composition and experimentation with the loops.
As usual, you can hear the music for free on internet and if you don’t like it you can hit “Next”.
Ground (2018)
This album was totally composed, played and produced by me in Nou Cant estudi. This means also the drums, bass, guitars, etc.

Aquest estiu de 2017 no parem màquines a l’estudi, i segueixo amb la producció del pròxim disc, començat a mitjans de 2016, menys electrònic i amb instruments reals tocats de veritat…
Ningú espera l’àlbum de JomoL, però apareix i no deixa dubtes als qui l’escolten: “hauria de sonar a algun lloc”.
Ara mateix, estic produint cançons que vaig editar al meu primer CD i, respectant-ne la composició, m’estic dedicant a reinterpretar tota la instrumentació fugint dels loops que farcien el disc. Passarem del títol G=4,89 a Ground; d’una força de la gravetat inconcreta, a la Terra (el lloc on descarreguem les nostres energies i sentiments) mitjançant en aquest cas instruments que toco realment: bateria, baix, guitarres, sintetitzadors, etc…
Espero poder publicar en algun lloc aquest pròxim àlbum, que costarà una mica més de fer però que suposa un repte: passar del reialme de l’electrònica a vegades abstracta i falsa, a la música tangible. Segurament incorporaré alguna versió, i algun tema nou, així que estigueu atents a les pròximes notícies!

Li he donat una empenteta al disc aquest últim mes, i el que semblava l’Obra de la Seu, és ja gairebé una realitat. 50 minuts gairebé ininterromputs de música, en el que ha estat gairebé un “pique” amb el meu admirat Mike Oldfield, que en el seu famós Tubular Bells va executar de manera pionera una fórmula semblant.
He interpretat el 99% del que sona al disc, no hi ha gairebé ni un loop, i tot s’ha gravat a Nou Cant: bateria, baix, guitarres i sintetitzadors. Després d’haver “après” aquests instruments, de molta constància en les gravacions i en la postproducció, gairebé semblen tocats per professionals! Bromes a part, ha estat un grat viatge anar progressant fins a aconseguir que sonés alguna cosa audible. Són 11 temes, dels quals 5 ja havien estat editats en el passat i els he reinterpretat. L’altra meitat l’he anat composant durant l’any, en algun cas amb mètodes força novedosos com ara amb l’aplicació Chordbot, que permet buscar seqüències d’acords diferents i creatives.
Hi sentireu una música electrònica tranquil·la, a estones ambiental i sempre buscant sensacions agradables. Els referents aquest cop són Air, Massive Attack, DJ Shadow, Vangelis… Dosis d’electro-pop, de Trip-hop, lleugera psicodèlia i chill-out.
Ja falta poc!

Organic machine’s voyage (2015)
This album is a beautiful piece of creation. All the beats were produced by me with an iPad then processed externally with analogue gear and remixed with the computer (Logic Audio). When everything was on it’s place I thought that there was missing some soul and I asked for a collaboration of two good friends: Lluís Molina with the electric guitar and Sergi Basart with his trumpet. They put the skills to translate his inconcrete ideas of how should their instrument sound.
They are 15 tracks in a style between trip-hop and downtempo.
Breathless (2014)
In this album,I was exploring another palette of distorted sounds. It’s harsh, not easy to listen, and has plenty of creativity.
Escudella techno (2013)
With my second hand synthesizer Korg MS2000B I explored dark techno sounds. Industrial and evocative. I processed some sounds with the Sherman Filterbank wich adds charachter and agressivity to the sound.
Ni de l’Ombra (2012)
I was making this album for long because I had the instinct it could sound in the radio. It didn’t. In spite the album art is one of the worst pictures you can find it reflects some fears and the motivation I had while staying at home producing the songs. I have to say that they are all very creative and slightly dark.
