This Tuesday in the rehearsal of The Twisted Wheels (wich is the resident band of the Nou Cant Sound Studio) we were visited by the legendary Northern Soul artist Tommy Hunt.
We both will make a concert in Upload (Poble Espanyol, Barcelona) next October 21st 2017. Thats the reason why he came to hear his repertoire and to teach us how to play it. He gave us a master class of interpretation while he was showing some songs that we didn’t know.
Famous as a singer of The Flamingos (with hits like “I only have eyes for you”) he is also for his solo career with songs like ” I just don’t know what to do with myself”.
Tommy is a gentleman with special charism, with a voice that contains Soul and lots of contrasts. His humility and masterness made the rehearsal of this tuesday one of the most special in Nou Cant history. Thank you, Tommy!
